Submissions Are Now Closed

Completely, irrevocably, not-a-shred-of-mercy-if-your-submission-comes-in-one-minute-past-nine, closed.

I will finish my coffee, have a bit of non-blog life, and then the posting will begin.

Thank you for your courage and your kindness. And your patience. (I thought I'd throw that in ahead of time. You know, just in case I've done something really stupid during my cut-and-paste marathon.)

  2. My blog is relatively new, but I just discovered a feature that allows me to create posts and tell wordpress to automatically publish them at whatever time I choose.

Even as we speak, my next post lays in wait, prepared to pounce tomorrow morning.

I mention this because, if blogspot has a similar feature, perhaps for your next contest you could start creating posts ahead of time.

That way you don't get stuck with a big heap waiting for you to post all at once. I would think posting 100+ entries would be a bit daunting. Even after coffee and non-blog living. :)

  5. :)

Get some food in you, Authoress. Preferrably some protein and starch, it sounds like you'll need the fuel!

I was so paniked! Yesterday the internet went out and I was so worried I wouldn't have it back in time to come read. But I made it in time!

Try to enjoy your non-blog life too. And just think of all the fun this blog will be when you're a famous author (after all that editing) and are writing your memoirs of how you set So-in-so.

  6. I do believe Blogger has the feature to schedule posts, and that's a great point, h.i. dyer!

I haven't played with it (er, I'm lazy and haven't done any posts in awhile O:)) but it sounds like it might work well...

  7. Authoress, I just want to say a big THANKS for hosting these contests. And an even bigger THANKS for getting that secret agent, which resulted in oh-so-many submissions...and I'm guilty of adding to that list because I passed the word on. *sheepish grin* So thanks for following through on something that turned into this huge thing!

  8. Let me just add my thanks to Tabitha's.

I don't know how you managed to grab yourself a secret agent, but well done that lady!

Now... Let's get out a red pen and get at those first pages!

    *mwaaahhhahaha*

  9. I've already got the majority of the posts ready to go in "draft" mode in Blogger, so it's not as bad as it may seem.

My second pot of coffee is brewing. (No, I didn't drink the whole first pot myself. I shared it. Honest.)
