I rarely read any of those, and was afraid to critique those entries. There were enough other entries that I didn't feel that I was cheating the system, but they were thin on the ground.<BR/><BR/>It was initially surprising, until I realized that nearly every fiction writer I've met IRL has had a focus on Fantasy, YA, or MG. As a contemporary thriller/suspense guy myself, I'm the odd one out.
