You've got some really haunting images.<br /><br />The only thing that tripped me up was the laughter at the funeral. I picture the funeral as the actual part at a cemetery, lowering the body into the ground etc. and the description seems to be more of a wake or reception. <br /><br />Anyway, just a minor detail.
