It's Official: Writer's Digest 101 Best!

I've just received my official notification from Writer's Digest that Miss Snark's First Victim has made the 2009 Writer's Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers.

Please take a moment to admire the shiny badge I've added to the side bar. I'm ever so honored.

Ever so!

And will whomever of you who was (or were) kind enough to nominate Miss Snark's First Victim for this prestigious award please step forward so that I can publicly thank you! Or, if you happen to be the shy type, pop me an email and I'll thank you quietly.

Thank you, Writer's Digest, for the honor of your recognition. Running this web site is nothing short of a delight.

And things are going to keep getting better!

Wow. I think Mr. A should take me out to dinner, don't you?

*grin*

  18. I'll join in the congratulations. But you deserve it. And I'm not sure if dinner is sufficient reward. I'm thinking he should buy you a restaurant. Or at least a coffee shop where writers can meet and discuss writerly things. Oh, but we already have that with your blog, don't we. Thanks for all you do.

  24. Congratulations!! Well deserved!

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one wondering what web site was #102?

    Might just be me :)

  25. Awesome and congratulations! I think dinner in the Village followed by a stop at a chocolatier (high end, of course) and a massage is in order. Doing the laundry would be nice too but it's probably better not to push it! This is the best website out there - I'm learning so much from all the critiques. THANKS!

  26. I received my issue two days ago and swiftly flipped to your name while still standing at the mail box (they don't deliver to my house). Congrats! I'm totally excited for you. I even did a happy dance for you (much to my 5 year old's entertainment).

So do you get to include that with your queries? :D

  33. Re: faceless words submission...want to enter..is Romantic Suspense under your guidelines of women's fiction?

  34. Anon,

If your protagonist is female and you feel that your novel would share shelf space with "women's fiction" in general, then I would say yes.
