Submission Instructions: Off-blog Critique, Week 1

Hi, all!

These are submission instructions for:

Adult Entries #1-28, hosted at the blog of Melodie Wright
Adult Entries #29-56, hosted at the blog of Lauren Fobbs

These critique sessions will take place the week of January 2.  Entrants, please send your logline and the first 250 words of your manuscript to Melody at rewrighter(at)gmail.com (1-28) or Lauren at empressawesome1(at)gmail.com (29-56) no later than DECEMBER 30.  Both blog hosts will post all entries on January 2 and they'll be up for 5 days to a week for critiquing.

Questions? Post them below.

And now I'm returning to my post-Christmas haze.  Cheers!

  1. What if I've changed my first 250 up a bit? Can I send the new version, or does it need be the Baker's Dozen submission version? (Although I don't know how anyone would know...or care).

  2. ilima -- It's fine to submit a revised version. Whatever would be most helpful for you!

  3. If I submit for the critique, does that disqualify me from submitting to an Author's Auction for the next 6 months?

  4. The auction is annual, held in December. Submitting for off-site critique does not disqualify you from anything.

  5. You can customize these boxes with windows packaging to produce different shapes, sizes and colors that will help you attract your customers to the company. A window box designed in this way can attract customers as much as possible and influence their purchasing decisions.
