In my rejection, the bot said I needed to include the first three lines SCREEN NAME: Your Screen Name Here TITLE: Your Title Here GENRE: Your Genre Here.
Since I did format it that way, I assume the problem was I didn't use plain text?
Wow, I sent mine 15 seconds after 7PM and got a "...sorry, we reached our maximum...". I thought maybe I'd sent it too quick so I tried again and got the same message. I can't believe it got full in less than 15 seconds. That's incredible.
LOL, it's lightning fast. I sent one five seconds after my clock said 1am (yes, I'm in a different time zone) and the bog mail said I was too early. I quickly sent another one, and it said the maximum 25 were already received. That's got to be some kind of a record!

That's why I sent it again, thinking maybe it hadn't started yet, but got my next auto-bot response at 7:03:33. So, I don't know what to think, except there are some QUICK people out there!
Wow, it sounds like nobody made it in. There hasn't been one comment from anyone who's made it so far. I'm guessing it's rejecting everybody because the window's not open yet? (Though I'm not entering this time.) This is definitely weird.

ReplyDeleteIf we were rejected for going over the word count (i.e. 256, rather than 255) can we resubmit at 7pm? Or is that just wishful thinking?

ReplyDeleteMichelle, all entries receive an automatic response from the bot. Check your spam box, and also check that you sent it to the correct address.

Yes! If you got a rejection email, you can submit again in the 7:00 window.

I sent mine in again at one second after 7.00pm and I got a rejection email saying it was already full. What a bummer.
