2 Christian SF

TITLE: The Tower
GENRE: Christian Sci-Fi

Tanner went through the checklist one last time. 58 minutes to go. Everything was on track.

  1. Yes. Hooked. I would be reading on a little more to see what this checklist was and what was going to happen in 58 minutes.

  2. Eh. Twenty-five words is hard. For me, it might be more hooky if everything wasn't on track.

  3. Not enough info to say 'hooked.' But I'd read a few more paras just for the genre alone.

  5. Not completely hooked, but I would keep reading a bit further to see if it finished catching me.

  6. Too little to say whether I'm hooked, but I'd read on a little more.

  7. I'd read more because I like Sci-fi. But as someone else said, if things weren't on track, and there was less time, it would definitely be more interesting.

  8. What Momwoman said.
If I had picked this up in a bookstore, I'd definitely read more to see what's going on. There's tension there, so that keeps in.

  9. 58 minutes until what? he went shopping for cookies? not hooked enough to keep reading. it's feels like a pull-the-rug-out trickster opener.

  10. Not really hooked. With 58 minutes to wait, I would think he'd be going through the checklist a few more times before it was time for whatever is about to happen.

I would read more though, but I'm afraid with almost an hour to go that I'd have to skip ahead to chapter 2 before anything really happened.

  11. I don't think there's enough here to hook me. Sorry.

  12. Maybe it'd be better to go into the newspaper headline mode...

58 minutes to go. Everything was on track. Tanner knew the checklist by heart now.

    Just a suggestion.
