  7. Good luck everyone. :-)

Curiousity- I entered my novel's genre info into the field, but I forgot to note that it is YA, not MG. Do I need to worry about fixing that somehow?

    Thanks!

  9. Authoress! I accidentally entered my YA novel into the ADULT contest earlier this week thinking it was the YA/MG contest!

Now I feel terrible that I took up a spot an Adult writer could have used and can't enter this contest.

Is there anyway you can give my spot to an entry that didn't make the cut and put me into this contest?

    My entry was #112

I'm so sorry, and you've already been through so much hassle!

  10. I'm in! Thanks so much, Authoress and happy readings to you!

I just realized I put Wishwryter in as my screen name, yet it's Margie.

Good luck, everyone. Can't wait to watch the fun.

  11. SBibb -- Send me an email with your post number and title in the subject line. I will add the correct genre to your entry.

Alex -- First of all, DON'T FEEL TERRIBLE; you did not take up anyone's space! The adult submissions DID NOT FILL UP, so no worries.

Secondly, these are set up as two separate contests and your entry has already been processed along with all the others. If you wish, you may re-enter today's submission round. I am sorry I cannot offer refunds for submissions that have already been processed.

  12. Authoress, Alex said he did it earlier this week. It could be he's thinking Nov 1st was the adult submission when it really was YA/MG.

ALEX! You totally entered the right contest. Go have some chocolate cake. :)

  15. Wait why does it say that today's submissions are for YA and MG then?

I'm pretty confused but if you say I'm in then HalleLujah!

I'm so glad i didn't mess up a chance for someone else!

    Thanks,

    Alex

  16. Alex, there were TWO submissions for YA/MG this week, Nov 1st and today. The process was the same for adult submissions a couple weeks ago. This week was solely about YA/MG so you're good.

  17. Oh Wow! Thank you so much. I read the rules and submission guidelines multiple times but I guess I got so hung up on the first round I didn't fully comprehend.

    Cheers!

    This is so amazing!

  23. Good luck to everyone! It was so hard not to ENTER! My book is back in revision, after a great writing conference. It will be stronger, but it was really hard to miss this chance. Thank you, Authoress, for all your work and time to help other writers!
