Submissions Are Now Open

Submissions for our August SECRET AGENT: ARE YOU HOOKED? contest are officially open.

The guidelines:
  • Submissions will remain open for 24 hours or until 50 entries are received, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.
  • Send the first 250 words of your COMPLETED manuscript to me at facelesswords(at)gmail.com in the following format:
SCREEN NAME
TITLE
GENRE
(followed by the excerpt)
  • Please, no attachments. Send your submission in the body of the email.

The following genres are included in this month's contest:

  • Romance, including paranormal and historical
  • Urban fantasy
  • Historical fiction (general)
  • High-concept women's fiction
  • Literary fiction
If your manuscript does not fall under one of these genres, please do not submit to the contest.

    This was the only other completed manuscript I had. I'm really looking forward to this contest. >_<

    Any of my other works in progress won't be ready for a long while yet. :P

    This might be a dumb question - if we have two completed manuscripts that fit in this category, may we submit both? This is my first time entering so I want to do this right.

    When you write "Romance, including paranormal and historical" does that include Romantic Suspense?

    It's early in the morning here, but I have a question.
    Will all the successful entrants have been notified by now?

    Sue, all entrants receive an email with their post number for the contest. And all entrants who miss the cut-off are notified.

    If you didn't hear from me, I didn't receive your entry. Or you may want to check your spam box to see if my response ended up there.
