    Participating in this contest taught me a lot, namely that I'm not quite ready to be looking into publishing yet. I got lots of great feedback, though, and cannot wait to use that in editing. Thank you, Authoress and Carrie, for putting this on!

  10. I'm very happy for the winners, and think it's wonderful that Carrie gave up her time to be a part of it all.
    This was an interesting exercise, to see what worked for Carrie, and what worked for the commentors. My taste differed from Carrie's, and I would have chosen other pieces to read. But that's ok.
    Having E-books means that readers no longer have to rely on literary agents making the choice as to which manuscripts reach the population and which remain hidden in somebody's trunk. and that's a good thing.
