You may already be aware of this. But I wanted to make sure, because this is a brilliant effort on the part of three Nashville authors to raise money for the victims of the Nashville area's devastating flood.
GO HERE NOW.
Authors Victoria Schwab, Amanda Morgan, and Myra McEntire have organized an auction of AMAZING WRITERLY THINGS, offered by folks like the adorable Lauren MacLeod (whose auction for a full manuscript critique closed last night at $690 (!!) and my sparkly friend Jodi Meadows, whose auction is still live.
The response has been so amazing that they're actually having to say no to further offers of goods and services. Awesome.
You know how I'm always waxing gooey over the wonderful community here on the blog? This auction is an example of the overall awesomeness of the writing/publishing community at large. SO PROUD.
I hope Nashville feels the love.
I've seen this around the blogosphere. I think it's a brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for promoting this. I have only fond memories of my time in Nashville and am so sorry about the devastation there.
