I'm still catching my breath from this latest announcement! Just yesterday I received word that one of our own, Peter Salomon, has signed with Ammi-Joan Paquette, our January Secret Agent!
This is our third Secret Agent signing and our first of 2010. Nothing like starting the year with fireworks!
I'm utterly delighted for Peter, one of the many blog readers who took advantage of Ms. Paquette's gracious offer to query her during January.
Warm congratulations to Peter and Joan! May awesome things come of this!
Congrats to Peter and to Ammi-Joan on her fab new client! Are we allowed to know which story was Peter's?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Peter!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Peter! And to Authoress for making it all happen.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Congratulations Peter!
ReplyDeleteTo quote Mr. Burns:
ReplyDeleteEEEEEXXXCELLENT!!
Woo-Hoo!!!!!!! Doing the happy dance out here in Arizona. That's fantastic.

ReplyDeleteHi from NZ
ReplyDeleteWell done Peter. This blog is awesome.
I have to say that I actually have got an agent and sold from being part of your blog. I saw that Kensington had been one of your judges in one of your competitions so thought they must be looking for stories and I submitted a query to Megan Records - guess what - I got a two book deal on January 7th this year. In addition i also at the same time, signed with Melissa Jeglinski of The Knight Agency.
So thank you Miss Snark!
Congrats, Peter. I'm one of Joan's clients and you can't do any better. She's amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and best regards to Peter and Ms. Paquette. Hope yours is a prosperous and delightful relationship.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Peter and Authoress! Great to hear such wonderful news.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! I'm still a little overwhelmed, with a lot of editing still to do. But I'm looking forward to the challenge! I'm still trying to come to grips with the surreal appearance of my name on the Client page of the Erin Murphy Literary Agency website.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope everyone out there gets to experience the same thing!!!!
Wow! That's great! Congratulations, Peter. =)
ReplyDeleteThanks to Authoress for the blog that makes things like this possible. =D
It must be a great story, Peter, congratulations. Good for you, Authoress. Ammi-Joan Paquette is awesome. After listening to her, I have rewritten my first three chapters and I love the results. Now they match the rest of the story and I feel more confident about submitting.
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without you, Authoress? And the Secret Agents of course.
Peter, you must be so excited.
Congratulations, Peter!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Peter! All of this good news is really raising my spirits! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Peter! Good luck with your book.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting. Joan is terrific. What a tremendous gift this blog is for writers.
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo! Congrats, Peter!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME NEWS!! Congratulations, Peter!
ReplyDeleteAnd THANK YOU again to Authoress for holding these contests! You've helped make many dreams come true! :)
Congrats, Peter! I also queried Joan after participating in the contest. While my story wasn't right for her, my voice went from bland to strong. That was exactly what I needed to hear. :) Plus it gave me something to blog about. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's wonderful to hear such great news (and I love your website).
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to both Ms. Paquette and Peter! This is wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Congrats to all involved! This site strikes gold again :)
